Don’t go to Art School. Let Art School come to you.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to offer diverse, high-quality contemporary art education to anyone who is eager to express their voice in creative ways. We offer courses that empower students to create work that is fearless, innovative, and that promotes a broad range of artistic and theoretical autonomy. Taught by artists living and working in the Bay Area, our goal is to cultivate relationships with businesses and individuals enthusiastic to learn more about the contemporary art scene in San Francisco and beyond.

Diversity Statement

Art School proudly embraces diversity, inclusion, and equity in our programming. Our courses focus on promoting an alternative approach to art history and telling the stories of communities that are underrepresented. Seventy percent of the content that is taught through Art School covers artists that talk about identity, culture, ethnicity, race, inequality, sexism, systemic racism, and other subjects that span these differences in life experiences. By expanding on traditional non-Western art content we hope to promote a broader understanding of diversity and create awareness from all walks of life.
